LMUENGINEER
Releases

What's new

The changes in every version, newest first. The installed app updates itself.

0.2.0

  • On the first run the app starts in your Windows language: Polish if Windows is Polish, English otherwise. You can change it in Settings → General → Language; updating keeps your language.
  • Once you turn data sharing on, a "Pick the engineer's voice" dialog suggests a natural Piper voice in your language, once: Download fetches the voice and sets it, Listen plays a sample, Use picks an installed one. A Piper voice you downloaded before is picked on its own.
  • The app now starts on PCs where Windows text-to-speech is broken or removed; the Voice status then tells you to download a Piper voice.

0.1.0

  • The first public version (beta): a virtual race engineer for Le Mans Ultimate that talks to you through your headset in English or Polish, on the straights so it never distracts you mid-corner.
  • The engineer watches fuel and VE, the pit window ("BOX this lap", how much to add, fuel ratio), the rivals in your class (undercut and overcut), the weather, tyres and brakes.
  • The driving coach analyses every corner and speaks up when you repeat a mistake, and after the session the Coach tab shows a debrief with goals for the next session; plus the Battle, Setup (setup advice, LMGT3 for now) and Ratings (five categories from 0 to 100) tabs.
  • A dashboard window and a second screen in the browser of a phone or tablet; your session history and recordings stay on your PC (you can pick the recordings folder in the settings, on another drive too), and an AI assistant (Claude, Gemini, Codex and others) can read them through MCP.
  • An installer that needs no admin rights, with updates in the background and a "Report a problem" button; the full app works once data sharing (anonymised) is on, otherwise it runs in limited mode.
